Main responsibilities:
The job corresponds to a new position, created in the frame of the autonomy roadmap of the CHC GBU. Within the Consolidation & Statutory Reporting Department, under the authority of the CHC Head of Consolidation Design & Innovation, we are seeking an experienced and business-oriented professional to join our team as Functional administration Analyst .
As a Functional administration Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the functional administration, configuration, and optimization of these critical financial systems within the organization. Your role will involve managing system configurations, user access, and governance processes to ensure the effective utilization and compliance of SAP FC and WDesk across business functions.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Analysis of business needs:
Serve as the primary administrator for SAP FC and WDesk platforms, responsible for system configurations, user roles, permissions, and data management settings:
Set up new consolidation reporting exercises. Control the completeness of the setup and ensure the whole parameterization is flawless
Support subsidiary and corporate users on the consolidation tool SAP FC and the corporate finance report application WDesk
Maintain reference data in liaison with the consolidation team, controlling team, tax and treasury department
Support the activities of the “Development & Projects” team
Perform testing during maintenances and for projects
Update the process documentation on operational activities
Maintain system integrity by implementing best practices for user provisioning, access controls, and segregation of duties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, while minimizing disruption to ongoing business operations.
2. Configuration Management:
Configure and customize SAP FC and WDesk applications to align with business requirements, including hierarchies, mappings, consolidation rules, workflows, and reporting structures.
Conduct impact assessments and perform regression testing to validate configuration changes and enhancements before deployment to production environments.
Document configuration specifications, change requests, and release notes to maintain an auditable trail of system changes and ensure transparency and accountability.
3. User Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and documentation to educate end-users on the functionalities, features, and best practices of SAP FC and WDesk tools.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating technical issues to appropriate support teams or vendors as needed.
Foster a culture of self-service and empowerment by equipping users with the knowledge and resources to leverage SAP FC effectively in their day-to-day activities.
Develop and update the Consolidation D&I web site
4. Governance and Compliance:
Establish and enforce governance policies, procedures, and controls for the use of SAP FC and WDesk tools, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of system configurations, user access, and data usage to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and legal teams to address audit findings, implement remediation actions, and maintain a strong control environment.
Ensure Internal Control compliance of our processes, answer to questions of auditors mainly on the user access management
About you
Hard Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
Extensive experience in functional administration and configuration of SAP FC and WDesk systems in a corporate environment, with a strong understanding of financial consolidation, reporting, and compliance processes.
Proficiency in system administration tasks, such as user management, security controls, data governance, and configuration management for SAP FC and WDesk platforms.
Certification or training in SAP FC and WDesk administration is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Languages:
Fluent in English & French.
