About the job

Within Global Security, and under the supervision of the Head of BIC, the Security Investigation & Intelligence Expert is responsible for performing tasks on demand. He aims to anticipate and focus on providing security risk assessments, options for risk mitigation and investigations. He suggests hypothesis on external threats and vulnerabilities in support to Sanofi business’ activity, image, and reputation.

The main responsibilities are: Respond to ad-hoc requests from management. -Process the intelligence cycle to improve information with an added value. Gather and evaluate sources and content. -Identify risk of reoffence, Security risks including economic, financial, reputational issues, and show facts. -Compare facts with risks in Politics, Geopolitics, Natural, Economical, Legal, Regulatory, Human.

Knowledge, Abilities, Skills: The role requires critical thinking, natural curiosity, confidentiality, and respect of processes. It requires a perfect knowledge of what makes an offence (mens rea / actus rea). The Expert needs strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across international organization & cultures, pharma professional environment and cross-industries. The Expert is aware of Intelligence Cycle, knows how to Investigate incidents, gather information, analyze modus operandi. The Expert can prevent incidents, analyze facts, trends, and reputation impacts to Sanofi. He can benchmark and compare Sanofi Security aspects with other industries. He can identify and assess persons, companies, assets, and financial flows.

The Experts has :

• Proven ability to detect threats, assess the risks and vulnerabilities, develop hypothesis, and provide options
• Proven investigation, analytical and case mapping skills
• Proven ability to report according to the Client need
• Experience in drafting legal summaries, showing cases’ evidence to be produced to Court
• Experience in operational communication with stakeholders and law enforcement community
• Experience in dealing with sensitive or confidential information

The Expert shows proven skills in : OSINT methodology, mapping, and tools. Criminal or Financial investigations, STR, FIU. Intelligence (all types).

Risk mapping and Audits.

Additional or optional requirements Minimum knowledge of Sanofi objectives, organization, strength & vulnerabilities, risk mapping, and competitors. Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry or prior pharmaceutical employment helpful. Act safely, preserving Sanofi. Manage specialized tools.

About you

Qualifications

• Bachelor education level, or professional equivalent degree
• Experience in operation or strategic domains
• Experience in investigation and case mapping, or, legal or security
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in-with law enforcement or equivalent (Corporate Security, Legal, etc.)
• Knowledge of relevant laws and judicial principles
• Proven English skills (writing, speaking, reading IELTS B2 minimum)
• Office 365
