We seek a highly motivated co-op to join a dedicated team creating novel expression systems and recombinant cell lines for the generation of therapeutic proteins within Sanofi’s biologics production pipeline. The intern will be engaged in the genetic manipulation of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells to aid in the cell line development platform and support preclinical and research programs. This will include work multiplexing genetic engineering strategies to improve recombinant protein expression int he Sanofi CHO platform. Assignments will be commensurate with experience. The intern will develop a wide variety of new skills and gain a solid understanding of genetic engineering, cell line development and its role in biologics development.

About You

Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering or related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027

• Must have completed a semester of laboratory experience.

• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong attention to detail and wiliness to learn and us new techniques

• Knowledge of basic cell culture and aseptic techniques

• Understanding of genetics is highly desirable

The salary range for this position is ​$29-$45 hourly​. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through LINK.​
