As a (Senior) Industrial Costing Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance by identifying innovative ways to manage sales and operating expenses effectively. Main responsibilities:

• Calculate Industrial standard costs per Group Methods & procedures and monitor Industrial KPIs to meet objectives.
• Deliver accurate reporting and meaningful variance analysis (Absorption, Yield, Destruction).
• Propose and implement continuous improvement and process simplification opportunities.
• Work effectively across multiple systems (SAP, Boost, Power BI, etc.) and increase financial and business acumen.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and production to build forecast requirements (Budget, T1/T2, rolling forecast).
• Support finance transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls.
• Build strong partnerships with Finance Business Partners, promote best practice sharing, and develop a positive, inclusive team atmosphere.

About you

Expected skills and experience:

• Diversified financial controlling or accounting experience.
  

Soft skills:  

• Build partnerships across business levels, influencing and shaping decisions.
• High attention to detail, quality, and ability to operate under pressure and strict deadlines.
• Lead through influence with strong organization skills to manage multiple projects.
• Develop rapport and credibility with stakeholders, working effectively across international work streams.
• Adaptable in a complex matrix environment and act as a change agent to propose and drive changes.

Technical skills:

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-lookups, macros, and data downloads.
• Demonstrated ethical behavior in challenging situations and strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven experience working across multiple internal stakeholders.
• Technology savvy, business-oriented, and agile learner, capable of working in multiple systems and tools.
• Solid grasp of evolving Sanofi technology platforms, processes, and controls, including SAGA.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or any related field is required.

Preferred:

• MBA and/or CPA.
• Pharmaceutical and public accounting experience. 
• Commercial Finance and Gross to Net.
• TM1 and SAP experience.
