Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) – Medical Services is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. Sanofi Global Hub strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, globally.
Main responsibilities:
Team Lead - Projects will be responsible for end-to-end project planning & execution with support from team members, this includes stakeholder engagement, resource planning and monitoring ongoing work. He/she will be responsible for providing project management expertise and support on pre-defined projects relating to various business units, including process-improvement and transformation projects for Sanofi scientific & medical conferences.
People: (1) Mentor the team on day to day as well as exceptional cases/ situations; (2) Monitor progress of work and provide solution to issues and queries;(3) Resource and back-up planning for business continuity;(4) Provide suggestions specific projects and consulting requirements;(5) Identify areas for innovation and implement with external and internal partners;(6) Act as key contact and thought partner for activities assigned;(7) Effective work allocation to the team;(8) Share best practices and serve as a change agent and facilitator for operational excellence;(9) Support team initiatives and objectives, identify and recommend process improvements and other value-added initiatives
Performance: (1) Collaborate with global stakeholders for future projections and setting up the timelines; (2) Ensure that team delivers the ongoing projects as per agreed timelines; (3)Ensure that team follows defined/agreed quality parameters/review before sending out deliverables to the stakeholders;(4) Support team to get resolution on timely basis for technical glitches; (5) Closely monitor projects, ensure timely completeness of project tracker, archival of documents in repositories, and maintaining other necessary tracking tools in order to keep trackers and repositories audit readiness; (6) Support Team in effective management of multiple projects in parallel
Process: (1) Develop strong understanding of the ways of working of assigned areas and associated deliverables meeting stakeholder expectations; (2) Support team to use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business practices and corresponding SOPs to improve the project processes; (3) Keep abreast of operational excellence techniques and facilitate constant skill up-gradation of organization employees; (4) Mentor team to lead the delivery of various scientific events and providing project management support to the scientific events like symposia, adboards etc; (5) Support team to drive project governance meetings with various stakeholders, vendors, and digital team etc. and execute effective coordination to track and monitor the progress of the projects;(6) Ability to work independently to deliver on the assigned tasks with ownership and delivering as per the requirements;(7) Identify and Propose automation solutions to the stakeholders; (8) Encourage team for new and innovative initiatives
Stakeholders: (1) Support global stakeholders for project planning, resource allocation and ensure the business continuity as per agreed plans; (2) Help global stakeholders for process improvements, risk mitigation plans, and new initiatives;(3) Drive effective collaboration with stakeholders to understand their requirements and to propose solutions in-line with their expectations; (4) Maintain effective working relationship with stakeholders and work with them to provide solutions on ongoing issues/problems;(5) Maintain regular governance with various stakeholders
About you
Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience with project management experience within pharmaceutical industry
Soft skills: Strong interpersonal and negotsiation skills, able to deal with ambiguity and conflicting priorities
Technical skills: MS office (including Teams, SharePoint), project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, JIRA etc.
Education: Postgraduate in any discipline (e.g., MBA, MS, PhD, DVM,)
Languages: Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
