Job title: Public Affairs Lead Pharma Turkey

About the job

Key Dimensions:

• This role is crucial in Turkey Market environment considering strong portfolio and projected launch pipeline in Pharma Turkey.

• Public Affairs Lead Pharma Turkey will be responsible from all public affairs activities for Pharma portfolio in Turkey.

Main responsibilities:

• Drive the strategy-setting, engagement and activation of all external stakeholders who lead or influence the policies that determine Sanofi’s ability to successfully secure patient’s access to pharma products.

• Develop and manage good relations with stakeholders to support market access processes, reimbursement & pricing activities, and shape environment proactively in public policies.

• The role’s large spectrum extends from identification of gaps and needs in the pharma ecosystem, to the development of strategies, build-up of advocacy, generation of data to support elaboration of policies and innovative access models for Sanofi products.

• Support launches and ramping up access of patients to Pharma products in line with company strategy.

• Support health and economic data generation for policy shaping. Drive disease burden, economic impact and other projects that would allow robust decision making for policies development in the aim of increasing pharma product access.

• Engage with external stakeholders for serving the public health priorities.

• Strong collaboration with Business Units, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial and Regulatory

• Lead & participate transversal cross-functional projects related to public affairs road map.

• Identify public health priorities, needs and gaps that are in line with Pharma products and ensuring development of strategies for addressing them and strengthening Sanofi’s position.

• Shape environment on policies related to health, investment, R&D and access.

• Provide policy support to new product launches and Regulatory and market access issues and difficulties.

• Screen the government’s health, R&D and investment policy programs and regulations; communicate Sanofi impact internally and identify action plans.

• Lead the necessary coordination within the Sanofi Group in order to ensure that Sanofi is represented effectively, and its priorities are overseen through the representatives of relevant industry associations and NGOs in which Sanofi Group companies are a member.

• Participate in working/expert groups of NGOs, industry associations, conferences and other events to communicate company position and issues.

• Ensure management of customer engagement projects in line with company strategy

• Identify strategies for enhancing patients’ journey and customers’ experience for Sanofi products, digital solutions and PPP’s.

• Ensure the needs for PPP, NGOs and cooperation partnership projects are defined, internal communication is managed, tracked and monitored.

• Support the public health agenda and economic development plans, identifying opportunities for partnership in Turkiye

• Position Sanofi as a strategic partner to health authorities through impactful and differentiated strategic project.

• Compliance: Respects corporate commitment and compliance guidelines.

About you

Critical skills & experiences:

• Proven record of public affairs and market access experience.

• Exposure to international environment with track record of performance in Public Affairs and Market Access,

• Experience with contributing to Global initiatives and local implementation,

• Understanding of the evolution of the public affairs landscape

• Turkish (native speaker) and English (fluent in business environment)
