As Medical Advisor within our Immunology team, you'll provide strategic leadership in shaping how Sanofi medicines are used across the UK and Ireland. Ready to get started?
Based in Reading, you'll join our dynamic Immunology team spanning Dermatology and Respiratory therapeutic areas. This role offers the opportunity to drive evidence-based medicine, collaborate with leading clinicians, and shape standards of care while expanding your expertise as our business evolves. You'll be a key strategic partner working at the intersection of science, healthcare transformation, and patient impact.

Main responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic business partner, co-creating brand strategy to ensure appropriate use of Sanofi medicines across Immunology, Dermatology, and Respiratory areas
- Lead evidence planning and execution by identifying data gaps and understanding what internal and external stakeholders need to make informed decisions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top clinicians across dermatology and respiratory specialties, raising standards of patient care
- Drive collaboration across commercial and medical functions including marketing, market access, health economics, regulatory, and clinical teams
- Partner with global and regional colleagues to ensure UK strategic input into broader plans and initiatives
- Develop implementation science plans that translate evidence into real-world clinical practice
- Stay ahead of healthcare system evolution, including Integrated Care System transformation and its impact on patient care
About you
- Background as a healthcare professional or in medical affairs (Field or office-based) and/or clinical practice, with proven ability to act as a strategic partner.
- Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills including navigating challenging discussions, ability to work independently with a solutions-oriented approach, deep understanding of immunological mechanisms across therapeutic areas, knowledge of evidence generation including clinical development and real-world evidence, ability to quickly assimilate and integrate new data.
- Healthcare professional qualification (medical, pharmacy, or nursing) or BSc/PhD in biological or medical sciences.
- Strategic understanding of the ABPI code and UK drug approval and reimbursement processes (MHRA, NICE, SMC).
- Working knowledge of the UK healthcare system and external stakeholder management.
