The Senior Data Scientist Statistician’s mission is to allow the Injectables sites and tech transfer projects to reach operational excellence in process development and optimization and to support PPQ right first time by an AI & data-driven organization:

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out Advanced Kinetic Stability (AKM) modelling analysis within the injectables and Tech Transfer platform

• Champion Digital Twin/ Process Modelling/One click Tech Transfer best practices and act as subject matter expert across Injectables and Tech Transfer network.

• Apply data science expertise to solve related problems using data-driven techniques (ML, statistics, text-mining/NLP, forecasting, etc.).

• Perform data analysis and visualization to assist with problem-solving and process optimization.

• Provide stats guidance and direction across the DSD Injectables and tech transfer network on approaches and continuous improvement plans.

• Design, deploy and sustain best practices in statistical approaches/modelling and utilization across DSD Injectables network

• Participate and be lead input provider of DSD Injectables on Global policy and procedure updates/forums to assure DP TT/NPI/LCM activity considerations are undertaken in same

• Participate in the development of site statistical systems, and rollout of support across the DSD Injectables to upskill across the network

• Champion statistical best practices across the site and within the Sanofi DSD Injectables network.

• Provide oversight of the methods in which statistical expertise are applied to activities within the DSD Injectables

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Statistics, Biostatistics, or Applied Mathematics, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Master’s or PhD in Science, Engineering, Statistics, Biostatistics, or Applied Mathematics, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Demonstrated experience in statistics, modeling, or data science roles. Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment is highly preferred

• Excellent understanding of the applications of statistics and data in a manufacturing environment.

• Excellent problem solving and data analytical/AI skills.

• Experienced user of statistical analysis packages, particularly Minitab / JMP.

• Strong influencing, communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working across multidisciplined and multicultural teams.

• Flexible with the ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.

• Familiar with regulatory statistical expectations.

• Process understanding of the various stages of sterile manufacturing through to inspection and packaging and tech transfers.
