[Main Responsibilities]

The Alliance Immunology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) collects insights through scientific discussions with HCPs (medical experts) in the respiratory and ENT (ear, nose, and throat) disease areas, identifies medical needs, and engages in activities aimed at addressing them. Through the following activities aligned with the medical strategy, the MSL contributes to improving the patient experience.

  • Scientific exchange with KOLs

  • Analyzing collected insights and appropriately contributing to the development of medical plans

  • Supporting awareness of relevant diseases and establishing appropriate diagnostic and treatment environments

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of medical events and advisory board meetings

  • Planning and implementing MSL-led medical education programs and internal seminars

  • Appropriately supporting evidence generation and physician-initiated studies

  • Opportunities to participate in global medical activities

  • Respiratory diseases: Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

  • ENT: Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps

  • You will handle highly anticipated medications (including pipeline products) and gain experience in pre-launch and post-launch medical activities where the role of medical affairs is highly valued. (Those with relevant experience and expertise can make significant contributions.)

  • With rapid changes occurring across the disease areas, you can work with HCPs to establish new treatment concepts and environments from a scientific perspective.

  • By addressing unmet medical needs from a scientific standpoint, you can contribute to patients, their families, and healthcare as a whole.

[Required Experience, Knowledge, and Skills]

  • Experience as an MSL, CRA, or in R&D

  • Scientific background (Master’s degree or higher) or a science-related bachelor’s degree

  • Ability to accurately understand and discuss English-language scientific papers

  • Japanese:Native Level

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations

  • Business communication skills

  • Presentation skills

[Preferred/Additional Qualifications]

  • Practical experience in pre-launch medical activities within a medical affairs department

  • 3+ years of experience in respiratory or ENT-related roles in the pharmaceutical industry

  • 3+ years of research experience at universities or research institutions

  • Business-level English (email, conference calls, interactions with international speakers, TOEIC 700+)

  • PhD
