About the Job
Sanofi Manufacturing and Supply organization is preparing its future through an ambitious program named Modulus. The Modulus Project is at the cornerstone of Sanofi strategy as it aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges as well as Specialty Care Biologics products.
As the Head of Clean Utility & Sustainability, you will be responsible for:
Ensures safe, compliant and efficient operation and maintenance of Clean Utility (CU) systems
Leads the sites cross functional sustainability program to deliver Sanofi’s Planet Care targets for CO2, Energy, Water, Waste and Biodiversity
Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality within the clean utility systems
Manages the department budget for clean utilities and utilities (gas, electricity, water, carbon)
·Manage budgets related to utilities consumption, conservation projects, and sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities to drive cost savings through energy efficiency and water reduction.
Collaborate with cross function engineering teams on identification of reliability/maintainability/HSE improvements for clean utility systems
As a SME, provide Clean utilities and Sustainability input for Tier 1,2 and 3 projects
As a leader, manage and prepare engineers and technicians for audit readiness on CU topics
Oversee the selection of contractors and vendors for CU maintenance, ensuring compliance to Quality and HSE, while maintaining high performance to cost ratio
Manage SOPs and Work Instructions related to CU
Develop site sustainability roadmap
Manage a team of engineers and technicians; nurturing talents, driving performance and development planning.
Continuous improvement for CU operation
KPIs & Metrics
Maintain zero lost time accident related to CU operations and maintenance work. Actively highlight and manage near misses, pSIFs to improve safety awareness.
Sustainability targets (Energy, CO2, Water, Wastewater)
Maintain healthy budget for Utilities and Clean Utilities
Quality Compliance- Timely deviation resolution and CAPA closure, adherence to change control action timeline for CU scope, zero overdue training
Collaborate with Maintenance team to ensure zero overdue work order

About You
Degree or Master’s in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial & Systems)
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Minimum 8 years of experience in Clean Utilities operations and maintenance management in biopharmaceuticals or API manufacturing
Minimum 3 years of experience in Sustainability Engineering within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with specific experience in vaccine manufacturing highly desirable.
Experience in HVAC and black utilities management will be a plus.
Familiar with local government regulations, relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations
Singapore Certified Energy manager and Boiler Competence certification will be preferred.
Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance in all aspects of utility systems operation and maintenance
Strong people management skills and demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams
Demonstrated success leading and coaching technical teams to achieve desired results
Strategic planning and objectives management
Sound budgeting and financial control
