About the job

The mission of the Market Access Department is to seek ways to enable access to Sanofi products with payers in an equitable and sustainable manner, aiming to add health and quality of life to their beneficiaries. In this regard, the Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) Manager will work on building strategies to maximize opportunities for including medications in the coverage lists of CONITEC and ANS, as well as developing tools to support the field access team's work with payers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Development of health technology assessment (HTA) submission projects (dossiers, clinical/technical evaluations, systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, economic models, and budget impact analyses) aimed at including Sanofi Specialty Care products in the mandatory coverage lists of ANS and CONITEC;

  • Development of micro-costing studies using the Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TDABC) method, coordination of Delphi panels, database analyses, etc.;

  • Development of value proposition tools, epidemiological calculators, and treatment cost calculators, as well as coordinating internal training to support market access team activities with key accounts;

  • Work closely with global health economics teams on analyses and adaptations of economic models and with local multidisciplinary teams on HTA project development;

  • Preparation of scientific articles, abstracts, and posters for publication in accordance with Sanofi guidelines. Contracting and managing external vendors when necessary;

  • Provide adequate support for the development of advisory boards, consultative meetings, and HTA events in line with brand strategies, whenever necessary. Represent the Health Economics Department in external and internal meetings related to HTA and HEOR.

• Comply with and promote Sanofi Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies in relation to the team it manages, which includes the Road Safety Program (Road Safety) with the purpose of preventing accidents, avoiding health risks, promoting the well-being of employees and reducing environmental impacts resulting from the execution of their work activities.

About you

Education and experience requirements:

  • Proven experience in Market Access, HEOR projects, HTA (ANS and CONITEC), data synthesis and analysis, as well as deep knowledge of the Brazilian healthcare environment;

  • University degree in any field;

  • Graduate degree (PhD or MSc) or postgraduate specialization (MBA) in HEOR/HTA areas will be considered a plus;

  • Fluency in English;

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of TreeAge and R will be considered a plus;

  • Initiative, autonomy, creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills;

  • Leadership through influence and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
