Global Policy Coordinator - VIE Contract
- Location: Belgium, Bruxelles
- Target start date: 01/11/2026
iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

About the job
As Global Policy CoordinatorVIE within our Global Corporate Public Policy team, you’ll support primarily the Head of Policy and Institutional Coordination and Head of EU Advocacy on key global policy and European affairs initiatives and projects, with special focus on mapping and contributing to the external engagement plan with EU institutions and above-country organizations/multilateral forums, while cascading and facilitating information sharing with other functions. The role will be focused on bringing a consistent policy and engagement plan with EU institutions and above-country/multilateral organizations in support of the delivery of our advocacy objectives.

Main responsibilities:
- Project management on key initiatives and policy campaigning - Stakeholder relationship management and engagement plan for advocacy priorities, monitoring of external stakeholder environment, policy campaigning, support the roll-out of engagement plan (manage outreach from end-to-end; support content development).
- Support for senior managers’ engagement with institutional and policy stakeholders (briefings, leave-behinds, Q&As, etc.)
- Track stakeholder mapping and engagement including support on regular updates of above-country stakeholders and EU institutions, support for senior managers’ engagement with institutional and policy stakeholders (briefings, leave-behinds, Q&As, etc.)
- Monitor and gather external intelligence, track health policy and competitiveness environment, analyze implications for Sanofi and identify key topics to be monitored, identify key engagement opportunities for Sanofi.
- Support internal knowledge management of global public policy environment on key topics of relevance.
- Specific content-related support on briefing notes, talking points, data and other needs of senior management, support cascading of information across team members and other functions.
- Organize touchpoints with team members including management of follow up actions (meeting agendas, pre-reads, minutes).
- Operational support in budget tracking, operational support with service providers and vendors, and other operational activities for the Global Corporate Public Policy team.
About you
Experience:
- Experience from European institutions would be considered an advantage.
- Project management experience.
Soft and technical skills:
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent writing skills (preferably developed in an external stakeholder-facing role).
- Ability to work and cooperate transversally.
- Intellectual curiosity, self-starter, autonomous, with appetite for stretched working environment.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and teamwork.
- In depth knowledge of European Public Affairs and legislative procedure.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in relevant field of expertise (EU affairs, EU law, Economics, Politics).
Languages:
- Fluent in English plus any other European language. French is considered an advantage.
