Account to Report (A2R) is part of Global Finance Services (GFS), a team dedicated to improving business operations and empower teams to deliver sustainable value, accelerate simplification, innovate, and harmonize solutions through trusted partnerships. It also helps regulate and ensure next-level partnership with its diverse set of stakeholders through digital driven experiences.

A2R consolidates the following activities:

  • Financial reporting

  • Audit support

  • Intercompany

  • Fixed assets,

  • Inventories

  • Cash Accounting

  • Monthly Closing & Reporting

  • Tax compliance and tax reporting activities,

  • Master Data.

Main responsibilities:

  • Preparing statutory Accounts – P&L , Balance Sheet , cash flow statement and corresponding schedules

  • Support for the preparation of Audit schedule and analytical review for Limited Review audit and Statutory audit.

  • Support for Audit committee analytical compilation/slides, including margin Analysis expense, price volume, GTN, personnel cost analysis.

  • Liaison with the auditor and Secretarial team towards data compilation for adhering statutory compliance during audit sign off and press release. Review of Annual Accounts/financials for circulation to shareholders  

  • Coordination and completion for filing data with stock exchange and ROC.

  • Support for the preparation of Annual General meeting of Shareholders.

  • Monitoring and Analysis of CSR expenditures as per regulations.

  • Coordination and completion of Cost Audit Report

  • Coordination for actuarial valuation reports

  • Monthly GL reconciliations, review, and analysis

  • Interco Cross charge (within India affiliates)

  • Interco rebilling monitoring for services rendered by India affiliate to affiliates outside India.

  • Support on sharing data to Group Auditor, internal auditor during audit.

  • Support from Accounting to Commercial Operations, Toll sites and other Global activities housed in local affiliates.

  • Related Party Transactions:

Preparation of Annual Budget of the Legal Entity Level for presentation to the Audit Committee and Board, Preparation of segment results, i.e., Related/Un-related with a further split between Local Trade Segment / Manufacturing Segment / Import Segment as applicable for presentation to Audit Committee for prior approval of all Related Party transactions.

Quarterly update on Related Party transaction, monitoring of the transaction to avoid deviation. Coordination to ensure prior approvals are obtained during the meeting or through Circular resolution from Audit Committee.

Support duding Annual general Meeting and Investor call related preparation including questions from the shareholders and investors during the meeting.

Reviewing and fulfilling the disclosure obligations as applicable under the “Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR)” on accounting topics

Stakeholders’ management / user experience

  • Cultivates strategic partnerships:  Finance Business Partners, Group Consolidation team,  Statutory Auditor, Consultant, Counsels

  • Sets up close relationships with all stakeholders when needed to allow smooth communication, efficient change management and issue resolution

About you

Experience: 4-5 years hands on experience in Finance, Accounting & Taxation.

Soft Skill:

  • Team player, Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and processes.

  • Strong customer orientation with ability to understand and meet their requirement.

  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive change.

  • Committed and focused on results delivery.

Technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAPs (Ind AS) and Indian Stock Exchange listing requirements (SEBI LODR), Income Tax, and transfer price

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end A2R processes, statutory obligations and GSF organization

  • Experience in working with listed entity.

  • Asset Accounting Management

  • Tax & Interco accounting.

  • Financial closing and reporting

  • Ability to drive a compliance culture and rigor.

  • Hands-on experience of SAP and satellite tools

  • Digital acumen to leverage IT to drive process simplification.

Education: CA

Languages: Fluent in English
