Job title: Corporate Communications Lead

About the job:

In alignment with company vision, global strategy and Türkiye business priorities, the Corporate Communications Lead will lead the development and execution of integrated corporate communications and reputation strategies.

The role is responsible for strengthening Sanofi Türkiye’s corporate positioning, driving stakeholder engagement, safeguarding reputation, and advising senior leadership on strategic communications, public affairs interface, and crisis management.

This position plays a critical role in enabling business performance by enhancing trust, credibility, and corporate visibility among key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications Leadership

• Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy aligned with global and local business priorities.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the General Manager and Leadership Team on reputation management, stakeholder positioning, and sensitive communications matters.

• Proactively shape corporate narratives that reinforce the company’s role within the Turkish healthcare ecosystem.

Reputation & Stakeholder Management

• Strengthen corporate image and reputation among public institutions, governmental bodies, healthcare professionals, patient organizations, media, and the broader business community.

• Build and maintain high-level relationships with key media representatives and opinion leaders.

• Monitor and analyze stakeholder sentiment and proactively manage reputational risks.

Media Relations & Corporate Positioning

• Lead strategic media engagement, including press briefings, interviews, press conferences, and executive visibility platforms.

• Oversee spokesperson preparation and ensure message consistency across all public engagements.

• Ensure timely, compliant, and strategically aligned responses to media inquiries.

Crisis & Issues Management

• Lead crisis communications planning and execution in close coordination with senior management and global communications teams.

• Develop proactive issues management frameworks to mitigate reputational risk.

• Ensure alignment with global crisis protocols and compliance standards.

Brand & Digital Governance

• Safeguard and strengthen the corporate brand in Türkiye in alignment with global brand governance.

• Oversee corporate digital presence, including local website governance in collaboration with global teams.

• Supervise corporate social media strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization

Cross-Functional Integration

• Ensure alignment and integration of communication initiatives across Medical, Market Access, Commercial, HR, and Public Affairs functions.

• Provide governance and guidance to ensure adherence to global SOPs and compliance frameworks.

• Drive an integrated and consistent stakeholder experience across all touchpoints.

Corporate Social Responsibility & ESG

• Lead the localization and implementation of global and regional CSR initiatives.

• Develop and communicate the company’s sustainability and impact narrative in Türkiye.

• Oversee preparation of local contributions to impact and sustainability reporting.

About you:

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in multinational and regulated environments (pharma/healthcare and/or media experience strongly preferred).

• Proven experience advising senior leadership and managing high-profile reputation matters.

• Demonstrated crisis management leadership.

• Strong understanding of Turkish media landscape and healthcare ecosystem.

• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Fluent in Turkish and English
