Our Team:

Sanofi Business Operations is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. Sanofi Global Hub strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, Globally.

Main responsibilities:

The developer role regroups several responsibilities which can be summarized as below:

• Design, develop, test, and validate Python web-based application using Plotly Dash framework
• Use pandas for data manipulation, cleaning, transformation, and analysis, so that interactive Dash dashboards run on well-structured, reliable data
• Apply HTML and CSS to structure and style dashboard pages, using Dash's HTML components and external stylesheets for a refined, user-friendly interface
• Manage source code and track changes using Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and collaborative code reviews
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services for deploying and scaling is preferred
• Effectively communicates with developers to ensure optimal organization and application of programming best practices
• Works in collaboration with stakeholders to clarify expectation on business case
• Translates those requirements into actionable specifications
• Creates meaningful data visualization that enable informed decision making
• Performs all QCs prior to release
• Ensures maintenance and documentation of program developed

People:

Maintain effective relationship with internal peers and the end stakeholders. Liaise and coordinate with colleagues in global and local teams to understand their requirements. Co-ordinating and performing QC Activities

Performance:

Provide monitoring reports, verification reports as per agreed timelines and quality. Data Quality assessment: Identify abnormalities in the data monitored and develop report as per regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder:

Work closely with global teams to ensure the end-to-end effective project delivery on time.

Process:

The incumbent will collaborate with the tactical simulation team and with transversal team (e.g., BSM, digital team) to establish connection with data, software and webapp developed.

About you

Experience:

• 5+ years of development in Python.
• Proven experience in web application development using Python and Plotly dash
• Skilled in data processing and transformation using pandas.
• Hands-on experience working with GitHub, including managing repositories, version control, pull requests, and collaborating with development teams on code workflows
• Experience in a Pharma/Biotech company to understand overall R&D drug development.
• Experience in planning and capacity management for understanding requirements and work efficiently on the specifications would be a plus.

Technical skills:

• Advanced proficiency in developing web applications with code-based frameworks such as Plotly Dash.
• Strong command of Python libraries, particularly pandas, for data manipulation.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS for structuring and styling dashboard pages, using Dash's HTML components and external stylesheets for a refined, user-friendly appearance
• Proven notions in Agile Methodology.
• Attention to detail for trouble shooting issues and ensuring data accuracy in Data visualization.

Soft skills:

• Analytical, synthesis and reporting skills.
• Teamwork and transversal collaboration, strong networking skills.
• Rigor, quality mindset. Ability to identify problems and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) to collaborate and understand the requirements and expectations from the stakeholders and for presenting deliverables and recommendations to stakeholders. Pragmatism, agility, autonomy, adaptability, curiosity, culture of sharing.

• Education: Master's degree or Engineer in Data Science, Informatics, Mathematics and/or Statistics
• Languages: Excellent knowledge in English and strong communication skills – written and spoken
