Main responsibilities

This position stands at the forefront of serving as a cornerstone for operational scheduling in the Large Molecules Research Platform department ensuring optimal resource allocation and fostering efficiency and excellence in operational planning. The team member will more precisely:

· Be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the global LMR Operational Scheduling tool and respective Power BI based reporting solutions. Ensuring optimal resource allocation and fostering efficiency and excellence in coordinating adequate operational resource scheduling across the different global LMR sites (US and EU)

· Link with Operational Planning & Capacity Management and ensure correct integration of Operational Scheduling information for global LMR in RDPM

· Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards integrating data from multiple sources

· Support the global LMR general portfolio dashboard and solutions (milestones, planned and actual resource allocation, progress monitoring, performance monitors)

· Develop and update the strategic and operational project plan and budget for a subset of the LMR Project Portfolio ensuring adequate monitoring of critical milestones with respect to timeline and budget.

· Analyze the project deliverable timelines and critical path activities to look for optimizations and/or identify risks/issues; escalate feedback to the Project Team; study the potential impact of recommended solutions; prepare project critical path simulations for alternative project scenario’s

Experience

· Bring a wealth of knowledge with an Academic Master's in Sciences, coupled with over 10 years of experience in Biotech Research, showcasing a minimum of 5 years in operational planning

· General knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry R&D value chain

· Expert knowledge of the Biologics Discovery workflow

· Proven track record of working with planning tools (e.g. MS Project), PowerBI, Excel, Snowflake,.. in a professional setting

· Background in stakeholder management

Required skills

· Analytical, synthesis and reporting skills

· Navigate a global matrix structure with finesse, demonstrating autonomy, effective judgment, and precision in decision-making

· Strong computer skills, MS office including MS Project, Power BI, Excel, Sharepoint and Spotfire or alternative business intelligence software

· Experience with working in a global matrix structure

· Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills

· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, adaptable to an international matrixed environment

· Work effectively, accurately and autonomously

· Exercising judgment, impact of decisions and consequence of error

Languages: Fluent in English, written and spoken
