About the Job
Business Operations (BO) / Global Finance Services (GFS) is the Global Shared Service organization of Sanofi providing end to end services to all geographies covered by Sanofi Global Business Units (GBUs through Key Markets - North America, Europe, Japan, Greater Gulf, Greater China - and International MCOs - Multicounty Organizations) including the Order To Cash (O2C), of which Customer-Invoicing-to-Cash (CI2C) and Account-To-Report (A2R) Service Lines. In addition, BO hosts several global Centres of Excellence (COE) providing support and other services globally.
Order To Cash (O2C) service line, one of the pillars of GFS in Business Operations, is currently covering the following areas of the Customer Invoicing to Cash (Ci2C) process:
- Credit Management
- Collections & Account Receivables management
- Cash Application
- AR Monthly closing and Reporting
To build an integrated end-to-end order to cash process under one single organization it will be extending its scope to the following Order to Serve sub-processes:
- Customer Master Data, Pricing & Commercial conditions
- Claims & Disputes Management
- Order Management
Within Sanofi Business Operations organization, you will join the Order to Cash Team, including the Customer Invoice to Cash & Order to Serve Team, on both Export and Domestic scopes of activities.
As Order to Cash Business Project Lead, your main missions will be as follows:
- to optimize all processes and systems involved in recurring activities and financial projects through simplification, standardization, digitalization, automation, and centralization. This transformation aligns with Sanofi's target operating model, encompassing both processes and tools, either defined or co-developed and deployed.
- to manage transformation projects from the business perspective — such as iShift implementation, electronic invoicing, and other deployments at MCO level. You will perform and monitor business changes in a project mode, ensuring that new processes and solutions are effectively designed, implemented, and adopted. Your responsibility extends beyond deployment to supporting the stabilization and continuous improvement of Order to Cash processes post-implementation, while also contributing to the enhancement of Order to Serve processes to secure business continuity.
- to ensure the proper planning, coordination, and end-to-end management of global Order to Cash Projects.
- to connect local Northern Europe teams, the Budapest Hub, and global project teams, GPO/GPL teams ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, business continuity is maintained, and customer satisfaction is improved.
This position will report to the Head of Order to Cash Northern Europe.
Main Responsibilities
Project Management & Change Leadership
- Act as business project lead for deployment of new tools, systems, and processes (e.g., iShift implementation, etc.).
- Lead change management: communication, training, knowledge transfer, and adoption tracking.
- Perform impact assessments and prepare the organization for transitions.
- Anticipate risks, propose mitigation, and ensure minimal business disruption.
- Serve as focal point for top-down initiatives and local improvement projects.
Order to Cash Improvement
- Facilitate the continuous improvement of Order to Cash end-to-end processes.
- Promote process simplification, automation, and best practices to ensure sustainable improvements.
Order to Serve Enhancement
- Support the enhancement of Order to Serve operations (Customer Master Data, Customer Contact Management, Order Management) after system/process changes.
- Ensure alignment between Supply Chain, Trade, Finance, and Hub teams to secure business continuity.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Support governance forums at MCO level, ensuring structured follow-up on actions and escalations.
- Promote adherence to the global core model while managing local deviations when necessary.
- Collaborate with Hub teams, Global Process Owners, and Automation COE to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.
About You
Education & Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in business project management, order-to-cash, or services transformation.
- Knowledge of Order to Cash processes (Credit and Collections, Accounts receivables management, Invoicing and month end closing) and exposure to Order to Serve is an advantage.
- Experience leading change management and process improvement in international or multicultural environments.
- Strong background in SAP (Sales, Finance) and reporting tools (PowerBI)
- Experience with iSHIFT or similar ERP transformation programs is a plus.
