Main responsibilities

This position is key for operational scheduling in the Large Molecules Research Platform department ensuring optimal resource allocation and fostering efficiency and excellence in operational planning. The team member will more precisely:

· Develop and update the strategic and operational project plan and budget ensuring adequate monitoring of critical milestones with respect to timeline and budget.

· Analyze the project deliverable timelines and critical path activities to look for optimizations and/or identify risks/issues; escalate feedback to the Project Team; study the potential impact of recommended solutions; prepare project critical path simulations for alternative project scenario’s

· Ensure coherence of resource and external cost forecast for the assigned projects within the portfolio

· Following diligent evaluation of the internal capabilities and capacity, be part of outsourcing decision

· Supports the LMR PMO Planning Manager in the development, optimization and maintenance of the global LMR Operational Scheduling and reporting tools

Experience

· Minimal educational qualifications: Academic Master of Sciences in scientific or engineering discipline

· General knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry R&D value chain

· Expert knowledge of the Biologics Discovery workflow

· At least 5 years in a Research function within Biotech of which at minimum 2 years relevant experience in operational planning

Skills

· Analytical, synthesis and reporting skills

· Strong computer skills, MS office including MS Project, Power BI, Excel, Sharepoint and Spotfire or alternative business intelligence software

· Experience with working in a global matrix structure

· Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills

· Work effectively, accurately and autonomously

· Exercising judgment, impact of decisions and consequence of error

· Good interpersonal skills, team player

Language: Fluent in English, written and spoken
