About the job:
Are you ready to jump into a mega project (> 2 B€ Capex program, thereof design/engineering budget >>200 m€) to bring in your experience & knowledge? The race is on to design & build our new Insulin flex facilities addressing BLA (Biologics License Application) inside a program of 2 news facilities in Frankfurt, Germany, and China.
You lead all Maintenance and calibration Processes implementation activities from Basic Engineering down for China location greenfield plant in accordance with EHS, Quality, Business & Users requirements focus on design to cost solutions & process replication for Glargine.

Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate to URS, Maintainability reviews (P&IDs, Layout, HAZOP, 3D model, Flows definition, …) during design phases.
- Ensure link with legacy plant SME to advise on some decision making and collect feedback for best integration.
- Support FMECA sessions leaded by Maintenance Methods team on the more critical equipment.
- Design and deliver a local outsourcing strategy to execute maintenance/calibration /technical checks activities linked to legacy site organization.
- This during the project phase and then for routine mode involving local partners in services and spare part strategy.
- Build and sustain high performance team (internal & external) empowering some talents for future routine mode organization after the project phase.
- Lead integration plan on technical activities with particular attention on adjusting: Local regulatory compliance with HSE department support; Maintenance and Calibration SOPs, instructions (local language), Master data and CMMS processes implementation within iShift program.
- Provide support of your team for FATs, commissioning, SAT and start-up on systems. Build skill management to ensure transfer of installations and ramp-up phase as an Autonomous Production Unit Technical team.
About you:
- Experience: 10+ years in a technical position within industrial sites, additional experience as Maintenance & Calibration Manager; Experience in working in large, complex matrixes/environment with global processes and governance structures
- Soft and technical skills: knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EU guidelines and regional/country authorities’ guidelines; Good general technical knowledge; Rigorous, organized, factual and results-oriented
- Education: Master’s degree/diploma in industrial engineering; Automation /Mechanical/Maintenance, Generalist Engineering fields
- Languages: proficiency in german and english (project language)
