2. About the job

The Clinical Study Unit (CSU) is at the forefront of digital transformation in clinical research, leveraging AI and innovative technologies to accelerate drug development and improve patient outcomes. As part of Sanofi's R&D, CSU is committed to revolutionizing how clinical trials are conducted through strategic implementation of cutting-edge digital solutions.

This Local Innovation Leader role brings significant business value by serving as the critical bridge between global innovation strategies and local implementation realities. You will drive digital transformation in your country, ensuring our teams harness AI and digital tools effectively while maintaining compliance and operational excellence and alignment and synergies with global digital strategy. You'll collaborate closely with CSU Global Innovation Lead, local CSU teams, technology vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate study delivery through innovation.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Translate global digital and AI innovation strategies into locally-optimized implementation roadmaps

2. Assess feasibility of digital solutions considering local regulations, practices, and resources

3. Train and support teams on AI tools and digital platforms for clinical research applications

4. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and facilitate strategic vendor partnerships

5. Lead change management initiatives for digital adoption across clinical teams

6. Track performance metrics and report progress on digital transformation initiatives

7. Promote innovation knowledge sharing and build sustainable digital capabilities within CSU

3. About you

1. Proven experience in healthcare, clinical trials, or digital innovation with exposure to AI/technology implementation

2. Solid knowledge of clinical development processes and Good Clinical Practice principles

3. Advanced skills in change management, project management, and stakeholder engagement

4. Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and drive digital adoption

5. Languages: Fluent English written and oral, local language proficiency required

6. Degree in science, medicine, technology, or related field

7. Ability to travel as needed for regional collaboration and vendor meetings
