JOB PURPOSE:

Leads and supervises project teams to provide timely programming support according to global project strategies.

Assist supervisor in managing the Chengdu Statistical Programming innovation team and completed the cross-department coordinate work

SUPERVISED RESOURCES:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

ØLeads and supervises project teams to provide timely programming support according to global project strategies.

ØProject management, provides and maintain project plan for projects/study including milestones, tasks, and coordination of programming activities

ØEnsures project teams adherence to department standards, processes and SOPs  

ØContributes to the recruitment and interview process for programmer positions within the department.

JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Master degree in statistics, computer science

Experience & knowledge:

ØAt least 5 year working experience in clinical trial development

ØPrevious project/people management experience preferred

ØGood SAS programming and R skill required

ØExperience with at least 5 FDA, EMA, PMDA or NMPA data submissions or support

ØData Anonymization and Risk Assessment and more then 60 projects implement experience

Core competencies:

ØGreat potential/Capability to provide programming leadership to cross -functional teams at the study and or project level

ØEffective English verbal and written communication skills in relating to colleagues and associates both inside and outside the organization control approach to work.

ØAbility to work effectively in a multi-cultural context as a good team member.

ØGood ability to apply statistical methods and data analysis

ØExpert in preparation of Data submission and Data Anonymization

ØAbility to develop and maintain R packages or R shiny APP with flexibility in applying statistical principles
