Main responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain all components of data engineering solutions and pipelines based on requirements and design specifications using appropriate tools and technologies. 

• Optimize solutions (ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) / data pipelines) to balance performance, functionality, cost, and other operational requirements. 

• Work with business and products actors inside a team following Agile methodology to understand and decompose high level business requirements, and translate them into technical needs and implement them 

• Develop automated tests for CI/CD pipelines 

• Create design and development documentation based on standards for knowledge transfer, training, and maintenance 

• Contribute towards supporting the Data Objects as needed that are in Production. 

About you  

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data engineering, integration, data warehousing, business intelligence, business analytics, or comparable role with relevant technologies and tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Informatica/IICS or equivalent). 
• You have worked cross-functional teams to solve complex data architecture and engineering problems, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels, pragmatic and capable of solving complex issues, with technical intuition and capacity to propose innovative solutions. 

Technical skills:

• Experience in Big Data integration, including cloud-based platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), and Snowflake, proficiency in data structures and algorithms, expertise with core data science languages (Python), experience with job scheduling and orchestration (Airflow is a plus), experience working with large data sets, and performance and query optimization. 

• Soft skills: Good presentation and communication skills with a strong attention to detail and listening capacity. In a team spirit mode, with different multicultural actors, you can work independently and as part of a team. You demonstrate the capacity to learn innovative technologies in a short amount of time to adapt to changes and answer challenges. 
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field. 

• Languages: Fluency in English is necessary to operate in a multicultural environment
