Main Responsibilities

As a Medical Science Liaison, you will:

• Build and maintain scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes

• Provide scientific and clinical expertise on Sanofi's therapeutic areas, pipeline products, and approved medications through peer-to-peer scientific exchange

• Support clinical research initiatives by identifying potential investigators, facilitating study site selection, and ensuring scientific integrity throughout the research process

• Deliver high-quality medical education through presentations, advisory boards, and scientific symposia to healthcare communities

• Gather and analyze medical insights from the field to inform internal stakeholders on treatment trends, unmet medical needs, and competitive landscape developments

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned scientific messaging and strategy

• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals with evidence-based, balanced scientific information

• Support publication planning and contribute to the development of scientific materials, abstracts, and manuscripts

About You

• MD, PharmD, PhD or advanced scientific degree in life sciences or related field

• 2 + years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Medical Affairs or clinical research

• Strong scientific background and understanding of Respiratory therapeutic area

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex scientific information effectively

• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders

• Fluency in Romanian and English (both written and verbal)

• Willingness to travel within Romania (approximately 60% of time)

• Proficiency in digital engagement platforms and virtual communication tools
