Job title: Data Lead, Southeast Asia & India

About the job

The Data Management capability is focused on optimizing data frameworks and processes to deliver Best-in-class cross pillar solutions, facilitating informed decision-making.

Support data integrity and reliability by maintaining rigorous standards, leveraging best practices, and using innovative

Techniques.

• Aligning Global-to-Local Data Management initiatives to support MCO markets, with a focus to India, but also including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines.

• Ensuring seamless integration between business needs, digital and Sanofi hubs to meet Service Level Agreements.

• Act as the local administrator and manage user access (UAM) for Global Data Offerings.

• Oversee commercial data acquisition in line with business budgeting and GTMC guidelines.

• Work with Global Digital + MDM teams to ensure data quality and integrity in Data Warehouses.

• Keep local initiatives updated and deliver optimizations to minimize local efforts.

About you

Education Background:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related fields.

·Pharmaceutical Business Acumen: Business acumen and knowledge of pharmaceutical business models in  countries.

Professional Background:

·At least 5 years of experience as a Data Manager and in business operations.

·At least 2 years of experience as a people manager and leading indirect technical teams (Good to have).

·Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with industry-specific data sources and analytics tools including familiarity with IQVIA’s sources, Go-To- Market and Route-To-Market concepts.

·Experience in managing large datasets and data curation techniques

·Experience administrating DBMS and consuming structured DWH

Competencies:

·Technical Skills:

i.    Proficient in data engineering and database management tools like Snowflake, Informatica, and MySQL.

ii.   Strong understanding of the data lifecycle and data governance.

iii.  Expertise in data modeling and data quality indicators.

iv.  Experience in data visualization and descriptive analytics.

v.   Desirable programming skills in Python for data-wrangling (Pandas, Numpy, SQLAlchemy, Dask)

·Soft Skills:

i.    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate data-driven narratives to both Backoffice and business stakeholders.

ii.   Resilience and the ability to work in ambiguous situations.

iii.  Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and integrity of flat data and calculated KPIs.

iv.  Vendor management

v.   People management

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
