About the job

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will serve as a scientific expert and trusted partner to healthcare professionals, institutions, and payers. You will support the medical strategy by facilitating scientific exchange, generating insights, and contributing to evidence generation initiatives. This role is field-based and focused on building strong, non-promotional relationships that improve patient pathways and outcomes within the cardiometabolic therapeutic area. You will collaborate cross-functionally while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

Main responsibilities:

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, acting as a scientific partner.

Provide fair and balanced scientific information to stakeholders, tailored to the needs of the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.

Support local evidence generation activities and contribute to clinical and real-world data initiatives.

Gather, analyze, and share insights from external interactions to inform medical strategies and patient pathway improvements.

Deliver clear and impactful scientific presentations and discussions across different levels of the healthcare system.

Collaborate with internal teams to align engagement activities and ensure medical strategies are effectively executed.

About you

• Experience: Background in healthcare, with experience engaging healthcare professionals and stakeholders in medical, scientific, or health outcomes discussions.

• Familiarity with patient pathways in cardiometabolic or related therapeutic areas is highly valued.

• Soft and technical skills:

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and adapt messages to different audiences.

• Effective at building relationships, gathering insights, and working both independently and collaboratively. Comfortable using digital and omnichannel tools.

• Education: Degree in medicine, pharmacy, or a postgraduate-level science degree is required. Postgraduate studies in epidemiology, public health, or health economics are a plus.

• Languages: Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate and present scientific and medical information confidently in international settings.
