The FinOps organization is embarking on a transformation journey with the ambition of becoming a best‑in‑class Finance organization, and within this context, the Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role by ensuring day‑to‑day business continuity while driving the harmonization and optimization of financial processes across markets. This role combines operational responsibilities—such as preparing budgets and forecasts, supporting monthly closings, tracking projects, and executing core financial planning and analysis activities—with a strong transformational component focused on identifying, prioritizing, and transitioning processes toward more efficient and centralized models. As part of this evolution, the Senior Analyst collaborates with multiple stakeholders across Service Delivery, Service Management, and Design Authority to ensure clarity, alignment, and effective implementation of financial processes. The scope of the role spans several business perimeters—GBUs, Corporate Functions, M&S, and Transversal teams—and may evolve as the organization refines its Core Model and operating strategy. Main responsibilities:
- Accountable for running efficient, high quality and compliant delivery of services related to the budgeting and forecasting as well as closing and reporting.
- Ensure that this end-to-end service is highly efficient, cost-effective, high quality and agile in order to meet internal customer satisfaction (neighboring functions, business…) and achieve strategic KPI targets.
- Create a culture of cooperation with the other team members in the Hub and FBPs while ensuring a smooth interface & communication to the relevant stakeholders of the businesses.
- Ensure Compliance and Internal Control/ SOX standards are met. Perform necessary controls and act as a role model, in line with all ethical & compliance rules of the Group.
- As detailed above, one of the main priorities of the role is to ensure business continuity while in parallel identify and support processes that are subject to be centralized and automated.
- Overall support global transformation initiatives related to finance operations aligning to the Global core model (TM1, ERP, rolling forecast, Insights factory) and related process improvements. In this role closely collaborate with process experts & FinOps management to support the implementation of these key projects within the operations.
- properly implement the FinOps core model and RACI.
- Manage workload arbitrating planning and priorities.
- Ensure fulfillment of the individual development plan, trainings & objectives.
- Keep high engagement.
- Be a reliable member of the Hub FinOps team, fostering efforts to transform the way FinOps delivers the service following “Lift & Shift” startegy.
- Support FinOps delivery and service management teams, country FBPs and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate to ad hoc projects and works within Hub team.
About you
- Experience: 5+ years in finance controlling environment with ideal experience in Hub / service delivery, Pharmaceutical and public accounting experience, Commercial Finance and Gross to Net, TM1 and SAP experience.
- Soft & Hard skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail, technology savvy, business orientation, and agile learning abilities, capable of working in multiple systems and tools. A solid grasp of evolving Sanofi technology platforms, processes, and controls. Effective change management to support transition to the future Controlling Core model, ability to think strategically i.e. understand global picture combined with operational execution, risk & Internal controls advanced, demonstrated results building partnerships with multi-levels across businesses, ability to influence and shape business decisions, strong organizational skills, ability to work effectively across international perimeter, adaptable and able to work in complex matrix environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required or engineer with experience in finance.
- Languages: English level B2+/C1
