About the Job:

As Global Referential Manager within our Industrial Performance & Financial Flows team, you'll be the guardian of our global product flow system—ensuring every cross-border movement is automated, controlled, and compliant. Ready to get started?

You'll manage the Referential, our single global system that documents and approves all product flows across Sanofi. This critical platform drives automation in our order-to-cash process, connects with our planning systems, and ensures physical and financial flows align perfectly. Working at the intersection of supply chain, finance, and technology, you'll be responsible for maintaining the rules and master data that keep our global operations running smoothly—from product launches to cross-border sales to strategic acquisitions.

You'll optimize processes, maintain financial rules, train users across multiple regions, and act as the financial approver for all worldwide product flows. You'll also manage the critical connection between the Referential and our Kinaxis planning tool, ensuring production planning data flows seamlessly and upstream automation works flawlessly. Whether supporting a new product launch, managing an audit, or enhancing our automation capabilities, you'll make a tangible impact on how efficiently and accurately we deliver medicines around the world.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize the Referential system, ensuring data integrity, accurate financial flows, and seamless automation across the order-to-cash process

  • Maintain financial rules that govern product flows, ensuring alignment with supply chain, tax, and finance guidance

  • Approve all global product flow requests for cross-border sales, acting as the financial gatekeeper for worldwide transactions

  • Lead system enhancements and improvements, partnering with technology teams to evolve the platform and integrate with connected systems

  • Train and support global users, organizing knowledge-sharing sessions and ensuring teams understand processes and best practices

  • Oversee annual control cycles and audits, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring compliance

  • Support strategic projects including product launches, acquisitions, and divestments that impact the Referential system

About You:

  • Experience: Proven background in supply chain management, finance operations, with hands-on IT experience managing global systems and cross-functional projects (project management skills are mandatory – PUMA methodology)

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems (such as SAP) and distribution planning tools; excellent analytical abilities and experience with reporting platforms; advanced proficiency with Excel and other Office applications

  • Soft Skills: Strong project and process management capabilities; ability to work with confidential data and operate effectively in complex, cross-cultural matrix environments; excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset

  • Competencies: Ability to prioritize under pressure, anticipate change, and manage transversal relationships across global teams; flexible team player with strong oversight of how systems and data impact supply chain and financial processes

  • Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken)

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field
