Reporting to the Head of Performance Analysis and Reporting, the Performance Analysis, Reporting & Dashboarding Senior Analyst plays a critical role in leading driving data-driven decision-making within Sanofi's procurement operations. Along with mentoring/leading junior data analysts, this role focuses on analysing performance metrics, creating insightful reports, and developing interactive dashboards to enhance visibility and facilitate strategic planning.

Main Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Employ advanced analytics techniques to analyze procurement data, extracting valuable insights for process optimization.

• Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of procurement performance metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong hold on source to pay and procurement service processes and maintains expertise on key trends / developments in the procurement and supply chain domain.

• Leadership: Collaborate with the cross functional teams and lead the project discussions with the stakeholders. Lead/mentor team of data analysts as needed.

• Report Generation: Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.

• Dashboard Development: Design and create interactive dashboards using data visualization tools to enhance data accessibility and understanding.

• Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used in performance analysis and reporting through regular validation and quality checks.

• Collaboration: Work closely with procurement teams, IT, and other relevant stakeholders to gather data requirements and align reporting with business needs.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, implement automation where possible, and stay abreast of industry best practices.

• Communication: Effectively communicate performance insights and trends to a diverse audience, tailoring the message to meet the needs of different stakeholders.

About you:

• Experience: Experience in performance analysis, reporting, and dashboard development. Experience in performance analysis within the procurement or supply chain domain and knowledge of procurement processes and industry-specific performance metrics.

• Functional skills: Proven experience in front end procurement or procurement services with knowledge of source to pay process, strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management, procurement specific management/operational KPIs (at least two). Preferred knowledge of other supply chain areas like manufacturing, logistics, planning, etc.

• Soft skills & Technical skills: Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Hands on experience of SQL and sound understanding of coding (Python/R, Power Query, DAX). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to convey complex data concepts. Experience in handling large data set (big data), knowledge of AI/ML and any automation tool is preferred.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Education: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering or a related field

• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written)
