Our Team:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Audit Committee, the mission of Sanofi Internal Audit and Risks Management (SIA&RM) is to provide independent and objective reasonable assurance regarding the group’s ability to control its operations according to the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) international standards.

Under the supervision of one of the IT Audit Directors, the Digital & IT Audit Manager contributes to perform the yearly risk assessment campaign and executes the Digital & IT Audit Plan through his/her involvement in the audit assignments from preparation to reporting phases.

He/she leads the follow-up of action plans and ensures the enforcement of SIA quality standards for Digital & IT Audit works.

The Manager endorses the role of Team Leader and is responsible to conduct assignments with Play-To-Win Behaviours. He manages the team members, including the subcontractors.

Main responsibilities

Audit waves take place every 7 weeks, 7 times a year. The Digital & IT Audit Manager leads an assignment for 6 waves out of the 7.

For each wave, the audit activities encompass the following steps:

Preparation: The Digital & IT Audit Manager needs to get familiar with:

  • the process audited by reviewing Corporate Guidelines, local SOP or previous audit reports, interviewing key stakeholders and analyzing data;

  • the Digital organization involved on the audited scope as well as the related business environment to be able to put areas for improvement into perspective.

Based, on his/her knowledge of the process and risks the Digital & IT Audit Manager should develop, in coordination with the team, the relevant audit program to be conducted on the field.

Fieldwork: The Digital & IT Audit Manager should develop a deep knowledge of the actual processes and identify areas for improvement to better manage the associated risk. He/she has to debrief to process owners to convince them and work with them on how to concretely improve the process.

The Digital & IT Audit Manager cooperates with the IT Audit Director leading/supervising the assignment and constantly manages his/her priorities within short timelines.

Report: The Digital & IT Audit Manager delivers the audit report, including clearly written recommendations that effectively communicate identified issues and their related corrective actions to help auditees and senior management.

Besides the audits, the Digital & IT Audit Manager will take the lead of different inter-wave activities including but not limited to the follow-up of action plans resulting from Internal Audit findings and the enforcement of SIA quality standards for IS Audit works.

It will be much appreciated to:

  • Inform IT Audit Directors of emerging trends and best practices in governance, risk, and compliance,

  • Contribute to drive performance and results to ensure overall success of the team and ensuring workload is balanced and challenging.

  • Contribute to participate to meetings involving key local Digital and Business stakeholders to effectively communicate audit status, align on significant audit issues and recommended corrective actions.

  • Demonstrate and maintain working knowledge on audit, digital/IT trends and technologies through continuous learning, conferences attendance, pursuing certifications, focusing on those specific to our industry.

  • A Master or Engineer degree in digital, IT engineering or IT Auditing,

  • A minimum of 4 to 8 years of working experience with management position or project leadership,

  • IS/IT knowledge with a particular focus on digital solutions,

  • Knowledge of IIA standards,

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills,

  • Ability to travel approximately 20 to 30% of the time, including international travel for up to 3 weeks at a time.

Preferred

Professional certification (i.e., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC or equivalent)

·        Soft skills:

  • Good knowledge of Sanofi businesses and related information systems,

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence stakeholders,

  • Ability to work transversally and within a highly matrixed environment,

  • Global or international experience and ability to work with a diverse team,

  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills is required.

·        Languages: Fluent English & French is a plus
