We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to partner with the organization’s leadership and People & Culture (P&C) team in Budapest Hungary as the catalyst for the deployment of the One Sanofi People Strategy for the company. The incumbents will contribute to the achievement of the company's short- and long-term goals by providing P&C strategic leadership and support (talent management, performance, organization, culture, etc) whilst ensuring alignment to Sanofi’s Global Business Strategy as well as the Play to Win culture.
Main responsibilities:
As a member of the CSE People & Culture team, you will be expected to work in close partnership with the business leaders and the rest of the P&C community across the geography and beyond it.
The Budapest Hub in Hungary is the largest office for nearly half of the Sanofi employees of our Multi Country Organization (MCO) of Central & South Europe. The Hub hosts currently more than 1000k employees with the perspective to grow double in size by 2026. We engage with a diverse group of employees, of 54 nationalities ranging from local, regional and global team members of Financial, Procurement, People and Culture, M&S, Automation, Medical, R&D, Digital & Procurement Services supporting them globally in 11 different languages.
In this position in order to Play to Win you will be expected to partner with business leaders both within Hub and globally.
- Reflect changes in local processes, procedures, and policies according to CoE guidelines.
- Support delivery of people & culture activities that require on-site presence or where local language requirements cannot be covered by the hubs.
- Talent Acquisition – Support on-site activities as required in partnership with TA team. Obtain approvals from works council/union where applicable.
- Talent Management* – Deliver P4G workshops to upskill People Managers. Engage in calibration talent reviews as needed to support 1st line managers. Support employees and managers locally in development advice.
- Learning – Support on-site learning admin and handle local audit of learning delivery in partnership with Learning COE
- Rewards and Recognition – Support adjustment and negotiation of collective labor agreements, manage personnel cost/ budget, local plans, and exceptions.
- Insights – Handle reporting request using local data sources (e.g., local government reports)
- Org Design and Effectiveness – Partner with the Towers Global People Business Partners to implement organizational changes in local systems (if required), manage reorganizations by supporting union/ works council negotiations as well as managing the transition/ exit of people.
- Employee Relations – Support People Excellence Lead in Hungary in liaising with local co-determination bodies and advise managers on employee relations matters & handle cases end-to-end.
- Mobility - Support on-site relocation, if necessary, e.g., in-person confirmation of employment
- Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process improvement ideas and implementation.
- Proactively encourage all line managers and employees to utilize ESS/MSS and One Support
About you
Experience and skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience. International exposure is desirable.
- Great leadership, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization & ability to represent P&C externally but also partnering above Country and beyond with the P&C Community
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
Languages: Fluent in English is a must
