Your job? Contribute to our product’s critical transformation by  leading in house developers engineers to rebuild & support a best in class global front end & backend solution.
Design, build & support OneShop, the next generation of Sanofi eCommerce.

Implement excellent engineering standards, build amazing features & bring automation & agile WoW while supporting build & run.

Bring excellent Customer Experience while reducing Product Time to Market, increasing the Product Scalabilty team’s Ability to Innovate.

The OneShop Development Lead reports to the Head of SW Engineering - Ecommerce as part of the Sanofi Digital eCommerce & Vaccines team. He/she will lead Developers & work in close collaboration with OneShop Product Owner, Scrum Master & Program leader, Ecommerce Delivery team as well as business stakeholders & members of other Sanofi Digital teams such as the Digital Accelerator.

Main responsibilities:

As an excellent Development Lead, She/He will:

• Provide technical & people leadership guidance for development teams, capable of managing the work of up to 20 team members.

• Oversee the technology stack and ensure it meets current standards, including quality, process ownership, and platform security.

• A systematic problem-solving approach combined with strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and motivation.

• Rebuild a modernized eCommerce solution while bringing new eCommerce capabilities.

• Define technical strategies for product regionalization, personalization among others.

• Participate in defining new product requirements and design with Developers, Product Owner and Solution Architect in an AWS Cloud environment.

• Collaborate with development team to build key features, capabilities, and integrations with external solutions.

• Collaborate actively with other technical stakeholders, such as the architecture, and other development teams.

• Ensure your team’s delivery processes are continuously improved, dependencies with other teams and stakeholders are streamlined, and CI/CD pipelines executed on GitHub Actions are as fast as possible.

• Surprise us with innovative approaches to exponentially increase the organization's productivity.

• Help grow and develop our engineering culture.

• Contribute to the vision, strategy, and values of the Digital Ecommerce & Vaccines team.

About you:

She/He will have knowledge and experience in:

·Recent experience with implementing large enterprise eCommerce (B2B or B2C) systems, leading in house development teams with latest engineering practices.

·Experience with significant integration points between web-based user interfaces and back-end processes such as order management, warehouse management, financial and retail systems, ERP, payment services, and CRM.

·Proficiency in cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

·Strong background in API design and development (REST, GraphQL) with emphasis on security and performance optimization.

·Experience leading a group of developers with multiple layers, evaluating performance, and providing objective and actionable feedback.

·Proven professional experience as a developer & solution architect.

·Experience developing high-performance, highly available & scalable applications with a micro-services architecture and a deep understanding of observability.

·Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices including infrastructure as code.

·Proven experience with agile practices, software development principles and lifecycle, web development technologies/frameworks.

·Next.js framework a must along with hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React) Angular or Vue nice to have and backend technologies (Node.js, Java, Python).

·Experience scaling systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolving systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.

·Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain robust testing strategies (unit, integration, performance testing).

·Experience working with technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross-functional, interdisciplinary environment, including strong written and verbal communication skills.

·Experience with data modeling and database optimization (SQL and NoSQL).

Technical skills:

• ECommerce solutions, ideally SAP e-commerce or SAP Hybris or SAP Commerce Cloud.

• Next.js framework is a must, along with hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks: React, Angular or Vue. Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Java or Python is a nice to have.

• Some of the key tech we use are GraphQL, Node.js, Java, Typescript, Next.js, and many components of the AWS stack: Lambda, Amplify, S3, RDS, SNS and many more of the core services.

• Integration technologies (SAP CPI, Tibco, Informatica Cloud, etc) & experience with SAP ECC, S/4 HANA a plus.

Education:

•  MS in software engineering or computer science or equivalent.
