As a Value and Access Manager your role will focus on shaping market access strategies that ensure patients can benefit from innovative treatments, with a strong focus on aligning global goals to local healthcare systems. You’ll act as a strategic partner across teams, translating complex data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making, and driving value communication. Success in this position requires cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and an excellent understanding of the healthcare environment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinating, adjusting and implementing global access strategies to meet market needs and supporting the localization of health economic assessments for Denmark.
  • Lead local HTA dossier preparation, data gap analysis, product value proposition tailoring for payers - and close monitoring and coordination of all steps during the HTA process.
  • Planning and executing the creation, collection and utilization of real-world evidence according to project specific needs aligned cross functionally.
  • Develop and execute a robust engagement plan and build long term relations. Ensuring decision makers and external stakeholders understand the value proposition of assigned products; driving the communication.
  • Engaging in Market Access activities with external stakeholders to shape and validate local value argumentation and tactics.
  • Establishing and maintaining networks with Sanofi global and Market Access/Pricing/Health Economics teams, contributing to overall Market Access strategy & deliverables required to meet local needs.
  • Acting as key access contact for assigned products, conducting internal reviews and ensuring required approvals are in place, participating in regional/global Market Access initiatives and projects to represent the country.
  • Actively supporting the local/regional brand teamwork & brand strategy development by providing insights to optimize business opportunities.
  • Tracking and following up on changes in the competitors’ intelligence process and operational environment, both short- and long-term perspective. 
  • Managing and supporting internal price approvals, reference price management, database updates as needed. Manage dialogues with external stakeholders, manage timelines, and resources related to reimbursement.
  • In collaboration with medical and sales/marketing develop market access tools and presentations. Develop and localize value stories, budget impact models to support meetings with clinic heads, budget committees, and other decision-making stakeholders to manage and demonstrate the added value of the treatment and solutions.
  • Representing the access team in portfolio management related workflows as required.
  • Collaborate cross functional, cross country on various disease activities including leading i.e. patient journey/pathways projects to strengthen the HTA dossier preparation.
  • Partner with global value and access functional leads as necessary to explore innovative access strategies.

About you

  • Specific health economic training (MSc/BSc in Economics or other relevant education).
  • + 5 years of Market Access experience (excellent understanding of the Market Access environment and regulations (mainly DMC and payer needs).
  • Experience in the Public Sector is also highly valuable.
  • Experience of submitting HTA dossiers.
  • Knowledge of health economic models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and structured mindset.
  • Good cooperation and teamwork skills.
  • Oral and written fluency in Danish and English.
